Question 1

Do I need to book an appointment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Most workshop work needs an appointment so we can allow the right time, order any vehicle-specific parts and prepare for your installation. A booking is confirmed when we accept a deposit, full payment or written confirmation.

Question 2

Can you give me a quote before I visit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Send us your vehicle make, model, year and registration, along with what you would like to achieve. Quotes are based on the information available at the time and are normally valid for 14 days; we may need to inspect the vehicle or confirm its specification before finalising the work.

Question 3

How long does an installation take?

Accepted Answer

Timescales depend on the vehicle and scope of work. We will give an estimated completion time when we quote, but complex installations can take longer where access, previous modifications, hidden fixings, coding, wiring or vehicle-specific issues require extra care.

Question 4

When do I pay and when can I collect my vehicle?

Accepted Answer

Payment is due on completion unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing. Vehicles are released once the balance has been paid in full and cleared. Please collect your vehicle promptly when work is complete; storage charges may apply for delayed collection.

Question 5

Can you retain my factory controls and features?

Accepted Answer

Where compatible, we specify systems and interfaces to retain OEM functionality such as steering-wheel controls, parking sensors, cameras, vehicle settings and factory amplifiers. Retention depends on the vehicle, factory system and equipment selected, so we confirm what is possible before work begins.

Question 6

Do you install Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We supply and install CarPlay and Android Auto upgrades where suitable for the vehicle. Compatibility varies by make, model, factory specification, phone and software version, and some factory features may need additional interfaces.

Question 7

Do you offer warranties?

Accepted Answer

Where we supply and install a product, it will normally carry the relevant manufacturer warranty, and our labour warranty applies to the work carried out by Audio Division. Selected Audison and Hertz products may qualify for extended warranty through the relevant approved-dealer or Four Masters terms.

Question 8

Do you fit customer-supplied parts?

Accepted Answer

No. From April 2026, we only install products and components supplied directly by Audio Division. This lets us stand behind compatibility, product traceability, warranty support and the quality of the finished installation.

Question 9

What vehicle security products do you fit?

Accepted Answer

We fit vehicle tracking, alarms, immobilisers, Scorpion X systems and dashcams. We can recommend the appropriate protection for your vehicle, parking situation and insurer requirements. Security systems support prevention and monitoring, but no product can guarantee a vehicle will never be targeted or stolen.

Question 10

What are your starting prices for security upgrades?

Accepted Answer

Vehicle tracking starts from £300 fitted. Alarms and immobilisers start from £350 fitted, depending on the vehicle. Scorpion X is from £450 fitted on average. Dashcams start from £240 fitted for a front camera, or from £470 fitted for front and rear coverage.

Question 11

What should I do before dropping off my vehicle?

Accepted Answer

Tell us about any warning lights, electrical problems, leaks, previous modifications or non-working equipment before work starts. Please remove personal belongings, tools, valuables, child seats and loose items from the vehicle.
